AEI Strategic Directions 2005-08 (October 2005)

AEI Strategic Directions 2005-08 outlines how Australian Education International will work in partnership with industry over the coming years to encourage and facilitate Australia’s international education and training engagement.  It has been developed in the interests of transparency and accountability to Australia’s international education and training industry.

Australia witnessed rapid growth in the provision of international education and training, both onshore and overseas, through the early 1990s to 2004.  In a changing world, the next 10 years will be more challenging for Australian providers than the past 10 years due to significant structural change in the market as well as a number of other factors.  AEI is committed to working in partnership with the industry to help it continue to be successful in a complex, challenging and changing environment.  AEI Strategic Directions 2005-08 is a living document which AEI will use to guide its efforts in creating the environment for the sustainable growth of the Australian education and training industry into the future.
