Your assessment can be used to help you with employment, professional recognition or to study in Australia. If you are asked to provide your assessment certificate, you should only give a copy and keep your original assessment certificate.
Getting a review of our decision
If you do not agree with our assessment, you can ask for a review. You must:
- Apply by writing to us – you cannot apply for a review online
- Say why you disagree with our assessment
- You must include extra information or documents to support your case.
You will need to pay another fee. The cost is the same as for the first assessment. Payment can only be made by cheque, money order or by giving us your credit card details. You cannot pay online.

If you have lost your assessment certificate
If you have lost your assessment certificate, you can ask us for a copy. We charge a fee for this service. You must:
- Apply by writing to us – you cannot request a new certificate online, by email or by phone
- Provide details of your original assessment
- Include your name and postal address
Send a cheque or money order for $65, or pay by credit card by sending us your full name, card number and expiry date, and card type (Mastercard, Visa, Bankcard or American Express).
