Australian Education International (AEI) offers the following products and services in this section:
Research Database: Database of Research on International Education
AEI provides a searchable web database of research relevant to international education. The database is updated monthly and currently contains details of thousands of books, articles, conference papers and reports. It will help users to keep up to date with emerging trends and quickly locate research relevant to their needs.
Research Snapshots
The Research Snapshot series has been developed by the International Research and Analysis Unit to provide stakeholders with summary updates on current activities and developments in international education research. The Snapshots will be produced regularly, every six to eight weeks, and will cover a range of topics.
Market Data Snapshots
The Market Data Snapshot series has been developed by AEI to provide international education stakeholders with summary market-specific data and research information. These snapshots combine the information available from the AEI International Student Data series with the local insights of the AEI international network.
Research Papers: Study Pathways of International Students in Australia
Many students who come to Australia follow study pathways through our education system, rather than limiting their study to one area of education. This series of papers present Australian Education International (AEI) research which highlights broad trends in study pathways by international students studying in Australia on a student visa.
Publications and Reports
A range of publications and reports commissioned by AEI, including research done jointly with other organisations are presented here. Publications include information on the size, shape and value of the international education sector and on market trends. This information is valuable to education exporters and anyone else with an interest in international education.
Country Education Profiles
Country Education Profiles (CEPs) provide well researched guidelines for comparability of overseas qualifications to Australian qualifications. These guidelines can assist a variety of stakeholders to assess overseas qualifications in relation to Australian qualifications. The CEPs are used by educational institutions, employers, recruitment agencies, professional bodies and government agencies along with individuals wanting to know the status of their qualification from an Australian perspective.
CEPs are available online through CEP Online as a direct response to consultation with stakeholders. Access is on an annual subscription basis and subscribers will automatically received the latest CEPs as they become available over the year.
Host Country Regulatory Fact Sheets
AEI has developed a number of Country Regulatory and Business Facts Sheets. The purpose of the Fact Sheets is to provide up-to-date information on the regulatory and business requirements for establishing offshore educational and training services in overseas countries. The Fact Sheets contain collated publicly available information on a country’s education, regulatory and business environments, together with contact details of agencies and authorities in those countries which have responsibility for administering those regulations. The Fact Sheets are now available (to MIP subscribers only).
Student Enrolment Statistics
Non MIP subscribers can now purchase yearly data-sets of international student market indicator data. This data can be purchased on a yearly or monthly basis. Organisations who have access to the AEI Market Information Package (MIP) can download these documents from the MIP Statistics page.
