Marketing and Promotion

AEI promotes Australian education and training internationally on behalf of all CRICOS-registered institutions. We draw upon researched brand positioning to develop targeted communication strategies that set Australia apart from its competitors. Our aim is to raise awareness and consideration of Australia as a provider of quality education and lifestyle opportunities with international students.

Study in Australia is AEI’s main tool for communicating with prospective students and their influencers. Global communication activities include:

  • www.studyinaustralia.gov.au, which receives over 500,000 unique visits each month
  • targeted advertising on youth-oriented websites
  • editorial supplements in major newspapers and magazines
  • Study in Australia education events
  • a significant presence at major international education exhibitions around the world
  • visits to schools and universities in-country, and
  • distribution of Study in Australia promotional brochures

AEI also provides institutions with access to the Provider Promotional Services offshore. This gives education institutions the opportunity to display their promotional materials in Australian Education Centres, and create a profile on the Study in Australia website, at no charge.
