UMAP National Secretariat of Thailand is offering short term scholarships to undergraduate students to attend four-week exchange programs at Thai universities. Applications close on 1st May 2008.
The Thai UMAP National Secretariat is offering scholarships to undergraduate students to attend four-week exchange programs at Thai universities to undertake the following courses:
1. Hospitality and Tourism Management in Thailand (20 students)
2. Immersion into Thai Culture in Dynamic Contexts (20 students)
3. Integrated International Business and Cross Cultural Program (20 students)
Each of the four-week courses are for 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, during 16 June - 11 July 2008.
Each course is designed to provide exchange students with knowledge and experience in related fields relevant to the Thai context and also to understand Thai society, culture and people. Course brochures and application forms can be downloaded from www.umap.org. The notification is displayed under 'What's New' on the top page of that website.
Students who wish to submit an application are required to have an official letter of nomination from their home university. Applications must reach the Thai UMAP National Secretariat on or before 1 May 2008. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Successful applicants will be notified of their status by 15 May 08.
