The Australian Education International (AEI) Industry Seminars were held in Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth from 16 to 28 March 2007, attracting over 700 industry representatives. The event provided a forum for AEI’s international Counsellors and senior national office staff to share insights and experience with the Australian international education industry. AEI international Counsellors provided in-depth presentations on each of the markets in which AEI has a presence. A strong focus was placed on the future trends and directions in Australia’s international education engagement, providing organisations with a strategic advantage for positioning themselves for future success in this competitive environment.
Seminar highlights included a pre-recorded two minute welcome from Minister Bishop and a unique opportunity to conduct one-on-one interviews with AEI Counsellors. Participants also received a comprehensive market information publication detailing current statistics and information on major AEI policies and programmes affecting the international education sector, as well as detailed market overviews.
Overall feedback from delegates has proved positive on all aspects of the event, including presentation, content, format, seminar management and venue selection.
