Government Activities

The Australian Government’s Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) is dedicated to the internationalisation of education.

DEEWR is committed to supporting all students. As such, we place great emphasis on quality assurance procedures to ensure that all sectors of the Australian education and training system are recognised as providers of a quality experience.

Australia has an international reputation as a leading supplier of education and training. DEEWR operates programs to support the recognition of Australian qualifications and skills overseas, and initiatives in Australia for the recognition of qualifications and skills gained offshore. We also administer a number of scholarships to provide students with further opportunities for study abroad.
