How to Register for the Workshop
1. Select your preferred session below by double-clicking on the date

2. Enter the following information into the body of the the automatic email pop-up:

• Name of institution
• Contact email address (if different from sender)
• Phone contact
• Provide names and titles of no more than two attendees
• Participant 1
• Participant 2
• Can these people attend on another day if necessary?
• If you would like others to be placed on a waiting list, please provide names. (Due to the workshop nature of these sessions, DEEWR regrets that providers may only send two attendees to a session.  However, if more staff from your institution want to attend their names will be added to a waiting list.)

Who should attend?
Providers that work with the National Code's Standards 8, 10 and 11 are invited to attend a half-day Good Practice Workshop hosted by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) and state authorities. The workshop is aimed at those responsible for international student policy in their institutions.

The Program
- Working with students at risk of being reported
This theme lies behind many providers' questions to the ESOS team. The session will help providers to develop models of good practice in dealing with students who look as though they might not make it through their course.  Providers will workshop the policies and procedures that should apply from the time a student is identified as being 'at risk' of being reported through to the time that their CoE might be cancelled. The session will include:

• Intervention strategies under Standard 10
• Reporting under Standards 10 and 11
• Appeals under Standard 8.
